"The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed" - Stephen King The Dark Tower 1 The Gunslinger
If any one in the kin is a fan of King's Dark Tower series, than the quote above will be known to them. I feel this quote is a fair summation of my view on life and how I approach it. For those of you unfamiliar with the series - READ IT!
LOTR is special to me (as I'm sure it is to us all). I can still remember the first time I found the Hobbit in my local Public Library when I was eight years old and first glimpsed the wonderful rendition of Smaug by Alan Lee sleeping on his ill acquired pile of gold. When I returned the book after reading it, the librarian asked me if I liked it. When I said I did, she asked, did you know there are three more books? Thank you librarians for all that you do.
I'm a pretty busy guy with two kids and a wife and a home that needs a lot of work. I've been a gamer for all my life, but MMOs never really hit the spot with me. Later I found this to be the cause of the subject matter as I love LOTRO. I'm not on that often, but when I am I enjoy what I'm doing.
I love how organized this kinship is and how helpful everyone is. I only hope that I can repay the assistance at a future date.
Long Days and Pleasant Nights
