I'd like to make a suggestion and look forward to listening to other members and officers pro's and con's feedback.

Currently our kin house is in the Elven Homesteads. The Elven homesteads are clearly the best looking housing in middle earth, but I'm questioning how practical it is.

I'm wondering if it would benefit the kin more to have it located in Thorin's hall homestead instead.

Simply because Thorin's hall has so many more beneficial points to members development than the Elven homesteads.

Here is a link to everything that Thorins hall has to offer:

Before we moved from Windfola, I had my deluxe house in the elven homesteads and really enjoyed that house. I did however strugle with milestone locations especially when i needed to go to the Lonelands via Bree for crafting guilds.

After the move to Crickhollow, I moved my deluxe house to Bree, so I could be close to Bree and the Lonelands for crafting guilds. I don't like my deluxe house in Bree, it really should have a 2nd floor, but I've tried to make the best of it.

Truth be told, I've been to the kin house three times since the move. Once to see its location, once more to check on decorations and finally to see it fully decorated. Since then I haven't been back because the elven homesteads vendors provide little or no benefits for my characters. I don't mean to be harsh but I'm being honest.

I know that this suggestion could very easily be for a move to Bree instead of Thorin's hall. If we moved it to Bree I would move my house to Thorin's. Simply because of the benefits that Thorin's provides for me while at home.

I understand that our leadership and members have gone through a long process to find the kin house and their own housing and in some instances in the very neighborhood as the kin house, probably next door or across the street. Others might have done something like I did and made a sacrifice with the benefits of location in mind. I also recognize the fact that house payments have been made and are non-refundable.

I believe this move would prove to be a long-term benefit for the entire kin, and increase traffic to the kin house. I look forward to everyone's feedback.

I was checking out our allies websites and on Frodo and Friends home page someone talks about the new addition of crafting yard stations to their kin house.

So I went in game and sure enough it's true..ovens, workbenches, farmlands, study, and a forge are available.

I searched our neighborhood but no kin had one.. I recalled back to my home and found a kin with with a full setup.

This might be helpful.

I had my house on Windfola in Thorin's Hall, and really appreciated the travel convenience. I've moved to the Kin neighborhood on Crick. Now that there are Forge, Relic and Tasks, I spend more time near my house.

As to the crafting stations - Yes, it would be nice to have them, but they are fairly expensive something like 795TP each. I've been watching for them to go on sale ... but they haven't in 6 months.

795 each. wow that's highway robbery. I thought they might be quest items or something attainable in game.

Looked it up - It's actually 495. But as there are quite a few items needed to serve all crafts.
