I've seen some videos of players screens using these.

Can someone explain these and what they use, where to find them?

Thanks!

I kind of want to reinstitute trivia.

I use combat analysis and buffbars on all characters, and the songbook as well on my mini.

The vast majority of plugins can be found on lotrointerface.com.

To install plugins, I'll just adapt what Care posted in a thread from some time ago about playing music in lotro: (the plugin in this case is songbook, so you can swap that out for the name of whichever plugin you'd like to get set up)

To install the Songbook plugin:
  1. Press Windows-E to open an Explorer window. Click Documents on the left-hand side to open your "My Documents" folder. In this folder, find and open the folder named The Lord of the Rings Online.
  2. In The Lord of the Rings Online, you need to have a folder named Plugins. If you don't have that folder, create it now by clicking New Folder at the top of your Explorer window.
  3. Open the Songbook zip file you downloaded from lotrointerface.com, and drag the folder named Chiran out into your Plugins folder.
  4. If you run LOTRO now, you should be able to type /plugins load songbook in the chat window to load the Songbook plugin. NOTE: If you were already in LOTRO, type /plugins refresh before loading Songbook, or LOTRO won't see the new plugin.

Any questions, feel free to speak to me in-game. :)

I can't live without:

  • Big Dressing Room: Makes your character full screen trying things on
  • Titan Bar: keeps track of most everything across the top of your screen
  • Daily Tasks: tells you what items are good for which rep, etc.

There are many, many plugins on Lotrointerface, including our very own Care's Trivia plugin.

For an in-depth review, you can listen to this.

Thanks for the input.

I was able to install and load Buff Bars.

I've only used it a few times. I like that it shows anything negative on my character.

I couldnt get combat analysis to work and probably need to restart that process.
