Ok I'm posting this here because I'd like everyone in kin to see this. This said, I will try to keep OO and SO discussions from the post but it will be difficult as the topic of this discussion involves SO/OO (past and present).

1. If you aren't happy in kin......leave. But do so as the adult you are. I'm tired of seeing posts made on forums by current/former/part time members crying about this and that. If you have an issue in kin there are tons of leadership to address with your issues. If we cannot solve them (no we can't fix everything) then try another tactic or leave kin. If you decide to leave kin do so peaceably and without all the crybaby nonsense. If you feel like you still want to be a part of kin. WONDERFUL! We'd love to keep you. But don't start a bunch of nonsense on forums or in chat online. This just tells me that you either didn't want to leave kin and are still trying to make it work (if this is the case you shouldn't have left in the first place) or you are a childish and insolent person who shouldn't have been in kin in the first place.

2. IF YOU LEAVE KIN make sure you PLEASE tell a member of leadership (whether it's by tell, kin channel or mail doesn't matter) before you decide to leave. We can't solve your problem if we don't know it exists. If you have an issue with certain kin members (or leadership) let us try and work something out before you decide to leave.

3. Bashing/crying/whining on public forums needs to stop. Ok you weren't happy in kin for one reason or another. Or you are upset or disappointed in someone who chose to leave kin. Either keep your comments to yourself or in private messages between yourself and the person in question. EVERYONE ELSE DOES NOT WANT TO SEE THIS. You are not only making a complete and total ass of yourself but you are still representing a kin (whether it's ours or the one you chose to join for whatever reasons that drove you there) and how you are viewed on public forums does reflect on your kin.

This all being said, I have logged onto this site almost daily since it's creation and watched the numbers climb on our disciplinary forums to well over 6 months since the last posts. This means we are not having the issues we once did with trolls and the like. Which is a GOOD thing. and I know tempers will flare from time to time, and people have bad days. but try to resolve your issues internally and in a private manner instead of broadcasting it over a public forum and showing everyone how childish you can be. I love you guys, you are my kin, my family and my friends and I know you can all be better than this.
